Police are investigating a “large number” of counterfeit tickets sold online for a popular country music concert earlier this month, according to court documents.
More than five people reported purchasing fake tickets for the June 10 Lady Antebellum concert at Farm Bureau Live, according to a police application for a search warrant filed in Circuit Court. The victims purchased the tickets, which were for seats a few rows from the stage, through Craigslist, according to the application.
Police used the search warrant to obtain records from the amphitheater with information on the original purchaser of the falsified tickets, according to court documents. An Economic Crimes Unit detective is investigating but has not made an arrest, said Officer Grazia Moyers, a police spokeswoman.
