Tickets for the Green Day’s Uno!, Dos!, Tr! tour Nov. 27 at the Toyota Arena in Kennewick won’t be so easy to scalp with Ticketmaster’s new process of issuing tickets.
Concertgoers will be required to show government issued photo identification as well as the credit card used in purchasing the ticket when they pick up their tickets for the popular rock band’s show at the Toyota Center box office.
Each customer also will be limited to purchasing four tickets to the show.
“No actual paper tickets will be distributed until the day of the show, even if you buy online, by phone or the box office,” said Jude Strode, marketing director for the Toyota Center. “Prior to the day of the show, a time will be announced for ticket owners to show up to pick up their tickets at will call.
“This is to virtually eliminate scalpers. No one can buy a ticket and then sell it to someone else. These guys (Ticketmaster) are not messing around.”
