In Houston, the market for tickets to the hottest events has become a real jungle with some fans feeling fleeced, fooled and frustrated.
On a recent night outside the Toyota Center where Lady Gaga was getting ready to perform, you could stand by the ticket window and hear a conversation repeated again and again:
A fan walks up and asks, “You got tickets for tonight?” and the Toyota Center employee responds, “No, sir, it’s all sold out.”
It would seem the last place many fans bought their tickets was at the box office. And many sure didn’t pay face value.
