Kid Rock, DSO concert tickets will be paperless

Kid Rock’s May 12 concert with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will use a paperless ticket system, organizers announced Monday — the latest effort by Rock to thwart the reselling of tickets on secondary markets.

Tickets for the fundraiser, which aims to raise $1 million for the DSO, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. They will be available at price points of $100, $150, $250 and $350, and VIP packages — which go up to $1,500 and include access to an after party — will be offered as well.
